Walk the Highline

If you live in or nearby the Chelsea district and have yet to check out the Highline, you are truly missing out.  Never heard of it? The Highline seems to act as our quick central park fix, but in midtown west and built on an old 1.45-mile long elevated rail structure. It’s not your typical park, but that’s what makes it so prominent to check out. The fact that it’s built on an old railroad line is the primary reason to check it out, but if that is not enough it is simply the perfect place to picnic, read a book, catch some rays on the grass, or just take a leisurely stroll. Check it out. You wont regret it.

(I believe the park also host’s events like stargazing and projection movie nights… see website
